ABDOMINAL AORTIC ANEURYSM (AAA) SCREENING – Here on the first Monday of each month. Free screening for men aged 65 & older. Men often have no symptoms of an AAA until it ruptures. By screening (which is pain free and only takes 10 minutes) they can identify men with an aneurysm and manage their care. BUDE STREET PASTORS – Here on Saturday nights – Street Pastors are volunteers from local churches that are trained to patrol Bude at night simply providing help and support to those who are vulnerable and at risk of harm at their point of need.
